"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes...and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp...I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really there, and that I really lived."

~Marjorie Hinckley

"Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is a nobler art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials." Lin Yutang

Ammon as Capt. Spidey Hood October 2009

I just had to post this one! The kids have been going through the costume box in preparation for Halloween...and Ammon came up with this costume the other day. He was so excited to show me...Spiderman, Hook and Robin Hood all in one! (Those are Robin Hood shoes on his feet...he just didn't realize they were supposed to go over his toes, I guess.) What a creative little guy :)
