A very special thank you to my mom, who helped us keep our gingerbread house tradition going this year! :) Doesn't it look so inviting? I put a night light bulb up through the bottom in the corner and made a "fireplace" in front of it using cardboard and tissue paper. I love how it casts its light on the tree inside.
We put a "fence" around the house, made it "snow" and had a snowman in the front yard near the light post.
And, of course, had Santa heading down the chimney to deliver presents. I had so much fun putting this together with the kids. Thanks, Mom, for making the gingerbread. Love you!
